NEW STORE LAUNCHES
Oxford Bookstore has been a landmark in Kolkata for nearly 100 years. In 2005 when the company was on the verge of expanding this brand into an all India chain we were appointed to design a contemporary new image for Oxford, to appeal to a younger customer. While retaining the classic insignia and logo type we designed a completely new graphic identity and visual language.
This treatment was followed through in every element of the brand experience from the retail graphics to all the collaterals.
With swatches of red dominating the space, we played with words and typography as the design theme to create new excitement around the pleasure of reading.
